Proudly B Corp Certified
At Deepend, we believe business can be a force for good. We are dedicated to driving sustainable growth while creating positive change in society.
Introducing B Corp
B Lab is a nonprofit founded in 2006 rooted in the belief of a sustainable economy. Since then, B Lab has become known for certifying B Corporations, companies that meet high standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. Today, this global movement includes over 9,000 certified B Corporations in more than 100 countries and across 162 industries.
As a force for good, B Lab uses the B Impact Assessment to measure organisations' performance in areas like governance, workers, environment, community, and customers. Through a rigorous process, B Lab is on a mission to transform the global economy to benefit all people, communities, and the planet.
Our Journey
Joining B Corp aligns with our mission to partner with more like-minded organisations that drive change in their respective fields. This builds on work with current and former clients, ranging from Non-Profits such as Australian Red Cross and St Vincent De Paul, sustainability innovators including MCI Carbon, DEI champions including Randstad and Hilton, as well as fellow B Corps.
We’ve always believed that design, creativity and communication can do more than solve commercial challenges, they can reshape perspectives, influence policy and culture, and contribute to a better world.
That's why becoming a B Corporation isn't just a goal, but a responsibility. And this is only the beginning.
Purpose Driven Work – ReachOut PeerChat
Mental health and wellbeing is a major public health concern, with almost 40% of young adults affected. Recognising the urgent need for early intervention through youth-centered services, we collaborated closely with the ReachOut strategic design team to reimagine what effective mental health support should look like to address their needs.
Together, we augmented an existing program to support the research, evaluation, design and development of the PeerChat communication support service which resulted in a more relevant, accessible, non-clinical, and personalised mental health support service for young people. In the first six months, over 1,000 chats demonstrated a 73% improvement in well-being and earned an 8.2 out of 10 service rating.
Purpose Driven Work – Royal Flying Doctor Service
The Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) is one of the world’s largest and most comprehensive aeromedical organisations, covering the vast Australian Outback. They invested in an on-site Visitor Experience adjacent to its headquarters in Dubbo which employs dozens of local residents and is projected to attract more than 40,000 visitors per year. With tourism playing an increasingly vital role in funding the RFDS’ medical efforts, they decided to develop a state-of-the-art Experience Centre website.
Deepend played a critical role in providing guidance and technical expertise towards making the RFDS site a success. This challenging project showcases some of Deepend’s greatest strengths in flexible development and positive change by design.
